Some days it’s tough to get out and skate in the winter. It’s dark, wet, cold and generally miserable. But luckily the park dried with a little work and time. It was great to get together and skate because Mike is going in for ACL repair and could be out a while after that. Good times!

We get to have fun watching the kids do stuff we can’t do. It’s been fun watching skateboarding evolve and also fun watching it devolve all at the same time.

So back in June I took a quick trip to Orcas Island for a little bit of camping and skating with Jonno and Tom. Got to meet Tom’s family also and they are a fine bunch. Orcas is an amazing place and there’s something about it that makes it seem a powerful spot.
