Crusty knackered old badger infested ramps

When it comes to history we in the UK have it covered. Infact I think my house is actually older than pretty much all of the US.

This history also applies to our skatespots. Take the ramp in the video below – local historians have placed the creation of this ramp at roughly around the same time that Stonehenge was built. They also believe that the transistions may have been hewn from the same Welsh stone and put in place on the route the Henge stones took to get to their final place. Perhaps as some sort sort of prehistoric stoke generator for travelling druids. Anyways – I give you the splendour of RAMPHENGE.

Skate time is soon to be all the time!

It’s been a bit since anything has been posted and that’s because we’ve been to busy skating. When the sun is out around here you take full advantage. So for me that means skating 5 times since last Friday and hopefully I’ll get to go again today. It’s so great that the days are getting longer and the sun has finally graced us with it’s presence.

We here at Oh My Back are gearing up for our trip to Lincoln City at the end of May. It’s going to be a blast for sure. Also working on the video for the trip to Las Vegas but I want to make sure I have all the settings right so it looks as good as it should.

May also has a lot of skate related events in the Pacific Northwest and hopefully well hear from Scumtash on what’s up in the UK soon as well.

Enjoy the photo of Ted Fred Wetzel and his backside boneless in the clover at Battleground from last October.

Later Skater!

Sunday Surprises

Late Saturday night I get a text message from Dan Hughes that said he would be in town and skating at Lower Woodland skatepark Sunday at noon. I sent some texts out (sorry if I missed anyone) and we had a great session on a seemingly unusual sunny day in this dismal spring we are having this year.

From my perspective it was good fun and I did better than I have in a while in that park. I may not have all the tricks in my bag these days but I’m sure having a good time skating. Skating with good friends is also one of the best things in life and the heckling was fun as usual.

Enjoy these photos that Dan took…
